Terms of Use

Last updated: October 23, 2026

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the website, the web platform, and the field app of Lumos IP – Public Lighting Management (the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you declare that you have read and agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy.

1. What we offer

  • Web platform, used by the office team to manage public lighting operations.
  • Field app, used by crews to carry out and record service calls.
  • Public pages for citizens, when the municipality or concessionaire makes them available.

Access to the platform and the app is granted to an individual by a contracting company or body (the "Contracting Party"), which defines who may use it and with which profile.

2. Your account and access

  • The account is personal and non-transferable. Do not share your password or your access codes.
  • Web access requires a password and an authenticator app code. Keep your recovery codes in a safe place.
  • You are responsible for everything done with your account and with the device you use. Notify your company's administrator if you lose your phone or suspect unauthorized access.
  • Anyone who forgets their password or loses their authenticator should ask their company's administrator for help.

3. Use of the field app

  • Record only truthful information: service calls, materials, photos, signatures, and crew attendance.
  • At crew check-in, each member is identified and photographed live. Do not photograph or check in another person in their place.
  • The device's location is used for service, routing, and proof of service, according to your company's rules.
  • Keep the app up to date and protect your device with a screen lock.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Services for unlawful purposes or to falsify operation records;
  • attempt to access another company's data, another user's data, or areas without permission;
  • interfere with security, test for vulnerabilities without authorization, or overload the platform;
  • copy, resell, or reverse engineer the platform.

5. Data and privacy

Operation data belongs to the Contracting Party, which decides how it is used. Lumos IP – Public Lighting Management processes this data to provide the service, in accordance with the Privacy Policy and the General Data Protection Law (LGPD).

6. Citizens

By submitting a request through the public pages, the citizen authorizes the use of the data provided to handle the request. The body responsible for the service decides how this data is used; Lumos IP – Public Lighting Management processes it on its behalf.

7. Commercial terms

Plans, prices, deadlines, refunds, and service levels are those defined in the proposal or in the contract signed with the Contracting Party. In case of any difference between these Terms and the contract, the contract prevails.

8. Intellectual property

Lumos IP – Public Lighting Management holds the rights to the platform, the app, the brand, and its own content. The data and files that the Contracting Party and its users upload remain theirs.

We work to keep the Services available, but interruptions may occur for maintenance or due to factors beyond our control. Support is available through the channels listed below.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend access in case of misuse, security risk, or legal order, and the Contracting Party may request termination or replacement of access at any time. Processing of data after termination follows the Privacy Policy and the contract.

11. Liability

Each party is liable for the damages it causes within the limits of the law and the contract. We are not liable for misuse of the account by anyone who shared their credentials, or for information incorrectly recorded by users.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the latest revision, and relevant changes will be announced on the platform or by email. Continuing to use the Services after the notice means agreeing to the new version.
